He seems like a bit of an Adam Lambert lookalike to us. In any event, he will be designing a collection for QVC and will appear on the network next Monday at 7 p.m. during “PM Style with Lisa Robertson.”
Here is Henderson’s bio from QVC.com:
The season 7 winner is influenced by new wave, punk, ’80s goth, and Brit rock music, as well as movies from the ’40s, ’50s, and ’60s. Seth Aaron draws inspiration from European design, too. During his season, impeccable tailoring and eye-catching graphic design made him a cut above the rest.
What’s Seth Aaron been up to? He’s been involved with both TV and the Project Runway family, serving on the judging panel for open calls for seasons 8-12 and doing red-carpet commentary for E!. Besides designing fashion garments, Seth Aaron has created designs for Lexus and Intel, and created a line of fashionable iPad covers.
On the reality competition show, Robertson who presented the contestants with a challenge and served as a guest judge. In addition to the appearance on Monday evening, the victorious designer is scheduled to be a part of QVC’s “Red Carpet Style – Live from L.A.” on Feb. 28.
“QVC strives to bring viewers unique programming moments and exciting new brands,” Karen Fonner, QVC vice president of content marketing and programming, said in a canned statement. “We are honored to introduce a talented designer of Project Runway All Stars caliber to our customers who look to us for compelling personalities and great fashion finds.”
We haven’t seen the show, but it incorporated “the Accessory Wall,” which featured QVC products to complement contestant designs.
And here is part of the home shopping network’s Q&A with Henderson:
Q: How did the QVC accessory wall items support your winning design?
A: It’s all about the stylish modern shoe. Which, I must say, the QVC accessory wall was well-stocked.
Q: We all know accessories can make the outfit. What were your go-to pieces?
A: Always shoes, handbags, and frames. The QVC accessory wall never fell short.
In December, Korto Momolu also appeared on QVC to present a ready-to-wear version of her winning design from the “As Sewn on TV” challenge that Robertson helped judge.
“Working with QVC has been a hugely successful and creative collaboration,” said Rob Bagshaw, executive producer of the Lifetime show. “Our goal is to showcase the incredible talent of the ‘Project Runway All Stars’ designers, and QVC is the perfect platform to provide direct access between designers and the fashion-conscious audience. Thanks to QVC, we are now able to turn our designers’ TV success into tangible business opportunities.”
Designs from the winner’s capsule collection are scheduled to be available on QVC.com beginning today, Friday.
