Actress And Weight-Loss Flunkout Kirstie Alley Peddles Reading Glasses, That Stick To Frame, On HSN

Actress and endless weight battler Kirstie Alley is the latest celebrity to join the HSN family.

Alley, looking pretty with long blond hair, was on HSN early Tuesday morning, and then had segments scheduled at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., to sell her her picture frame with magnetized reading glasses. They are $80.

Alley, who collects frames, said she always was losing her reading glasses, including pricey ones that she had purchased for $200.

So Alley, formerly of “Cheers” and her own reality show, came up with the idea of having magnetized reading glasses that you can stick behind a photo frame, so you always know where to find them.

Alley’s reading glasses are blingy, with hundreds of crystals that are set into, not glued on, the frames. The picture frame also has the crystals.

“They’re gorgeous,” Alley said of her readers. “I’d out them against any designer glasses…They make you look like a movie star.”

Alley added a little salty language on her first HSN appearance in the early morn, before HSN’s censors were up. She said that in her house, the joke is that if somone tried to hold her hostage, “I’d be screwed” because she would’t be able to read the ransom note.

HSN supposedly only had 500 of the frames to go around.
