Did y’all know that Clarisonic is going out business at the end of this month?
Here’s the message from the horse’s mouth:
“After more than a decade of game-changing innovation and industry-leading technology, the Clarisonic brand will be shutting down on September 30, 2020. We want to thank all of our loyal customers, dermatologists, and retail partners who have helped put this brand on the map. It has been our absolute pleasure to serve you all these years,” the brand’s statement reads on Instagram.”
The product’s parent, L’Oreal, is pulling the plug.
But we think it makes folks like us feel foolish for investing in a product that we will no longer be able to get buy refill brushes for. A product that QVC constantly pushed as a TSV.
We swear by it. While living with our late mom, we didn’t initially bring our Clarisonic with us and quickly noticed a difference in our skin: Plugged pores, etc.
We went so far as to recommend it to friends and family.
We’ve ready several stories, including one in The New York Times, that dumped on the product and said it didn’t really help anyone’s skin.
Wrong.
