Kristen Keech Returns To JTV, Mary Beth Roe Is Retiring From QVC

June 19, 2024

More host changes in the home shopping world, some welcome, some not.

First of all, we were happy to learn on Facebook that Kristen Keech is returning as a host to JTV. She had moved back home to the East Coast to be with her family — including her grandma — and was working for the online selling forum ChicShack Boutique.

But it sounds like she missed her friends back in Knoxville, and this week she did a live broadcast to announce she was coming back to the home shopping network. But apparently the broadcast wasn’t correctly linked to FB, so not many people saw it.

Kristen later posted a video on FB, which we saw, that explained what had happened and re-announced her JTV return.

Her fans were thrilled (one dubbed her the Morganite Queen), and so are we. She’s a class act, very informative, and we always admired her makeup and clothes.

So welcome back Kristen! She returns next month.

On the flip side, longtime QVC host Mary Beth Roe is retiring, next March we believe. God bless that woman for her sweet demeanor!

She’s another host who was always good at explaining products, including our first love: jewelry.

Mary Beth said that she had often missed family events because of work and her career, and now she wanted to spend more time with them and her grandkids. We were told she recently downsized from a house to a condo on a golf course. She deserves all the best.

Home-Shopping-Host Revolving Door Continues: Heather Hall Exits ShopHQ

November 14, 2022

OK, we’ll be the first to admit it: We can’t keep up with the turnaround of home shopping hosts.

So Heather Hall, a pretty classy lady and longtime host at ShopHQ, has abruptly left the building.

Here’s what she had to say on Facebook:

“After 14 years of taking you shopping here at shop HQ Saturday will be the last day that we shop together on TV ☺️,” she wrote. “After that I will be shopping at home just like all of you . I am stepping away from TV shopping to spend more time with my children and grandchildren.💛💛💛 I want to extend a huge thank you to shop HQ and Invicta for an amazing journey! Drop me a comment so I can give you a shout out.”

So who else are we missing?

Speaking of missing, what happened to the Hispanic host that JTV had on-air a few months ago. We can’t find her on the host page at JTV.com.

We’re all for hiring Latina hosts — we’re half Puerto Rican — but when we saw her she was awkwardly throwing Spanish words into her sales spiel.

And with JTV losing missing a few more hosts, including Kristen Keech, they’ve brought someone back who worked at the network quite a few years ago. We can’t find her on the webpage.

JTV Sees Another Host Exit To Go To NYC, Now Leslie Delery

October 25, 2022

JTV is killing us: Another one of our favorite hosts is leaving.

Last night we were watching Leslie Delery and she referred to a Facebook post she had made. Our heart sank, because it turned out to be just what we feared. She’s leaving.

“To my @jtv friends: I’m posting with mixed emotions to share some personal news,” Delery said.

“After extensive reflection, I have decided to move back to NYC which unfortunately means I will be leaving my role as a host at JTV. It is very bittersweet as it has been a dream shopping with you over the last 3.5 years. I’m so grateful to have been welcomed into your home. The laughs, the late night hangs, and my luring you into my Asscher cut addiction (#sorrynotsorry lol) is so much more than I could have hoped for!”

She said, “I’m going to spend time with family over the holidays before heading up to NYC in the New Year. I hope we can stay connected on social media as I will continue to keep you updated on what’s going on.”

This departure follows the recent exit of JTV host Kristen Keech, who left to come back home to PA and launch her own online shop. She often televises from the Big Apple.

We like Delery. She is smart, we enjoy her comments and presentations.

Don’t think it’s a coincidence that our favorite JTV hosts are East Coast chicks. We hadn’t known that Delery grew up in our New Jersey, but she has often talked on-air about living and working in New York City.

Here is her bio from JTV.com:

Leslie joined JTV in June 2019 and is an Applied Jewelry Professional accredited by the Gemological Institute of America. She brings a wealth of experience in both hosting and sales and has always had an obsession with jewelry. Having worked and consulted for various Fortune 500 companies, Leslie strongly believes in the power jewelry can have on the person wearing it, such as how a certain color, the shape of a necklace or a hoop earring can alter your mood completely. She is also passionate about sharing her appreciation of the science and history of gemstones.

Prior to joining JTV, Leslie was an on-air host in New York City. She had the opportunity to work with many beloved companies, including Carrera of America and AT&T, and taught the audience in a variety of areas from cybersecurity to NYC real estate to toy cars. In addition to her broadcasting work, Leslie also once served as an advisor and sales professional to Fortune 500 companies on marketing and analytics. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

When she’s not on air, Leslie is likely cooking, exploring her new home in Knoxville, listening to sermons or FaceTiming with her many nieces and nephews, sisters and parents, all of whom have become JTV addicts. Born a California girl but raised in New Jersey, Leslie spends her time off traveling to visit friends and family. She’s also a HUGE fan of college basketball, so you may hear her talk about it on air.

What We Missed: Michael O’Connor, Kristen Keech, Joy Mangano

September 26, 2022

First of all, we were happy to see Michael O’Connor back at QVC, where he was once its spokesman for its Affinity Diamond line.

After exiting QVC, O’Connor did a line for JTV and was doing some direct-to-consumer jewelry. Now, he is at QVC+ and HSN+ as a style editor. Nice.

Kristen Keech, after leaving JTV, has started her own business curating and selling goods on Facebook full-time.

And finally, our friend Ann a few weeks ago told us that Joy Mangano, after HSN severed its long-time relationship with their Queen of Invention, is back doing a show on HSN.

Guess it’s true you should never burn your bridges.

Host Kristen Keech To Leave JTV To Head Back East, Antonella Comes On Board

July 12, 2022

Our favorite host on JTV has given her notice, and we’ll miss her.

Kristen Keech, whose references to the Jersey shore and her roots in Pennsylvania have helped endear her to us, posted a video on Facebook tearfully explaining why she is leaving.

She has talked about her “Grammy,” being ill, and the many trips she has made from Knoxville to go back home to see her. Keech said she is tired of all the travel, and we hear that. She is also missing her family on the East Coast. Said she wants to see her nieces and nephews grow up.

So Keech’s last show is July 31.

We enjoy her. She’s gorgeous, down to earth, honest about some of her emotional issues, and pretty trustful about how she hawks the jewelry on JTV.

She loves her cats and dogs and horses, and that makes her tops in our book, as well.

Plenty of her fans lamented the fact that she is leaving.

Instead, we are getting former QVC host Antonella Nester. She was let go as a host on QVC, her husband was laid off, she was diagnosed with cancer and she and her husband sold their house to live on a board (an affordable option). We were very sympathetic when she posted videos about her health problems and other woes.

She is a very polarizing person. Some folks became suspicious and turned off by her, because of the way she acted in the videos. She made weird faces. She was apparently seen smoking, etc.

But then others still stand behind her and love her.

That’s how we originally felt, we were fans, and of course someone battling cancer is a terrible situation. But we gotta admit, after we continued watching the videos we just thought it was all too much.

Well, Nester is back to home shopping, coming on board, so to speak, on JTV with a show on Saturday nights live-streamed from her boat. Can’t wait.

Condolences to HSN’s Carol Brodie, JTV’s Kristen

January 4, 2021

Unfortunately, our family has experienced several deaths around the holidays, so our heart goes out to anyone who has to endure the same.

Our dad died in early January six years ago, after an illness where we watched him suffer through Christmas and New Year’s. Our brother died five days before Christmas a few years later.

So we extend our condolences and sympathy to HSN jewelry vendor Carol Brodie, who lost her dad this New Year’s. Carol wrote a wonderful eulogy for her father on Facebook. He was a wonderful man.

Grieving and loss comes to all of us, for not only the people that graced our lives but the pets.

We guess some folks will think us silly and stupid to talk about the death of a father and a cat in the same breath, but we will. Last week JTV host Kristen Keech became tearful and lost her composure when she discussed the loss of her beloved red cat earlier last year.

For those of us like Kristen, who have not had children, the bond with a pet is especially strong. We’ve been living with my late mom’s hairless cats since she passed away last June.

They are our companions every day. They are family.

The Sunday New York Times today did a small profile of a Buddhist monk in NYC who lost his husband last year and finds great comfort with their pet cat, a furry black-and-white fellow who wakes him up every morning and sleeps with him every night.

We went to the cemetery last week to the grave of our mom and dad. We miss and still mourn them.

We pray for those who have experienced their own losses, Carol and Kristen.

JTV Host Jeff Moseley To Mosey Over to Royal Caribbean

May 16, 2015

Yet another host is leaving Jewelry Television.

Saturday Jeff Moseley said that he is taking an “amazing position” with the Royal Caribbean cruise line as the new business development manager in the Southeast region.

“I have enjoyed my time as a TV Host at JTV these past few years and I will miss many wonderful friends, co-workers and neighbors here in Knoxville, Tenn.,” he posted on Facebook. “What an honor to work for the ‘Best Cruise Line in the Caribbean.'” ‪

Moseley and his wife Erin were one of the few remaining husband-and-wife teams on a home shopping network, until she left to work for Alliance Sotheby’s International Realty.

The couple recently went on a diet using Isagenex, and lost a lot of weight.

Here is Jeff’s bio from JTV’s website”

Born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, Jeff followed a family tradition right out of high school by joining the Alabama Air National Guard while pursuing his Communications degree at Troy University in Troy, Alabama.

An Accredited Jewelry Professional and now pursuing his Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America Jeff enjoys sharing his 18 years experience in the industry with as many people as possible.

“I love the fact that JTV is so confident their collectors will love their new gemstones and jewelry that they offer a no questions asked, unconditional money back guarantee on all purchases!”

Let’s hope that Moseley’s tenure at a cruise line lasts longer than that of JTV host Kristen Keech, who left briefly for the high seas and Royal Media Partners but is now back on the home shopping channel.

Jewelry Television Host Kristen Keech Moving On

October 29, 2014

We hear that Jewelry Television is losing another young host, Kristen Keech.

Keech, who has been at JTV for four years, was recently on vacation in Miami and got a sweet job offer. It’s apparently a gig on cruise ships.

We like Keech and thought she was a fresh face on the Knoxville home shopping network. Let’s see who JTV brings in to replace her.

Kristen Keech

Here’s part of her bio from JTV.com:

http://www.jtv.com/linkpage?cid=meet-our-hosts-kristen-keech

Kristen Keech was born and raised in Pennsylvania and began her performing career at age three. With years of music, theatre and commercial experience, Kristen crossed over into the broadcast arena while in college. Before graduating college she began working in on-air retail with another company, both on camera and behind the scenes. The day she set foot in the studio she knew that this is what she was going to do for the rest of her life.

To Kristen, the most rewarding part of being a show host is having the opportunity to spend time with families all over the country. The ability to be welcomed in to a viewer’s home and to be afforded the opportunity to spend time with them is a gift beyond explanation.

She believes that a show host’s job is all about the connection and relationship with the customers. She says that she is honored and blessed to be able to have such great relationships with so many wonderful people.

Keech is also apparently a talented equestrian.
