QVC To Have Moment Of Silence For Newtown Victims

Here’s a nice gesture on QVC’s part to memorialize the innocents killed in Newtown,Conn., a week ago.

On Facebook, QVC posted that at 9:30 a.m. ET today, it “will participate in a moment of silence and suspend programming to remember the Sandy Hook Elementary School victims.”

QVC added, “We invite you to join in this gesture of solidarity and reflection. QVC extends our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to the entire community of Newtown, Conn. — and especially the families of the victims.”

It advises viewers to “please leave your condolences and words of support: http://qvc.co/PrayforNewtown>.”
