FB friend Charlene tipped us off to some news today: Former QVC queen host Kathy Levine is debuting a clothing line on Evine Live tomorrow.
Levine has been acting as a kind of sometimes host or commentator on Evine Live, but we weren’t aware that she had a collection cooking for the No. 3 home shopping network.
Lisa Robertson posted this photo of her and Kathy Levine on Facebook.
Another QVC refugee, List Robertson, did a post on Facebook about Levine’s new collection.
“GUESS WHAT?!!!! My friend Kathy Levine is debuting her new clothing line on EVINE Live!,” Robertson wrote. “It’s tomorrow night at 6p ET and she is really excited about it!!! Good luck, Kathy!!!!!”
Here’s what Levine had to say on Facebook:
For years, you have been saying how much you wish I would return to TV. I have always wanted to come back with something to call my own.
Last summer I met with EVINE Live’s VP of Apparel in NY and he introduced me to a super manufacturer. She got my vision right away. Easy, casual tops with a young hip edge, designed longer, to hide the bad and accentuate the good, for all sizes and all shapes.

When Levine left QVC, and never got that talk show she had mentioned, she became a vendor on either QVC or HSN, we can’t remember which. Levine did costume jewelry and apparel, and quite frankly, it was not impressive.
Let’s hope she does better on Evine Live.
We do dig the gemstone sterling silver heart necklace that she’s hawking as part of her line.

Not sure about HSN, but she came back to QVC for a short while a few years back. Didn’t last long.

She was on HSN with a clothing line that was a huge flop. Came back as a rep for some ugly costume jewelry on QVC that didn’t last long.

Her new line *has* to be an improvement over her short-lived HSN line. Evine has so many new lines lately, it will be interesting to see what succeeds.

I saw the show and it was fabulous. Fresh pieces, she looks utterly FABULOUS (very svelte!), and what a joy to watch a consummate pro. Welcome back, Kathy. More shows, please!

Miss Moss, is there a spot where we can send you questions? Just curious why Sarah Anderson left Evine. Also, interesting that Lisa Vanderpump apparently asked Pamela McCoy to host her shows on Evine. I can understand why, Pamela is soft spoken, elegant, and lets the guests speak. Curious to see if she’ll be back on air in a host role, or if that was a one-time thing with Lisa.
Sorry to post on Kathy’s thread. Alas, I missed her show, but will watch the video.

Kathy Levine needs to wake up and realize her gift and talent is being a host. If her new line is anything like her last then I don’t see it going far.
Seems these home shopping channels are just trying to capitalize off her former QVC fan base but so far I haven’t been impressed

She was both on HSN where she hosted with her “rival” HSN’s own star, She even helped sell Brilliante as if Diamonique was a bad word. How quickly change when there\s money involved. She was also on QVC with awful ugly outfits then a jewelry line that wasn’t impressive. \both flopped. I wish her best of luck but I really wish she humbled her and went back to hawking Diamonique on Q or anything they sell.
