Is Ex-ShopNBC Host Pamela McCoy Headed To HSN With Diamond Jewelry Line?

Once again, one of our savvy readers had tipped us off to a juicy tidbit: Former ShopNBC host and vendor Pamela McCoy has landed at another home shopping network, and it sounds like it is HSN.

Several days ago McCoy teasingly posted on Facebook that she is readying a jewelry line for a new home shopping venue, which she can’t reveal yet.

But since McCoy and her husband Wes — who used to appear with her as a host on ShopNBC — have just relocated from Minnesota, ShopNBC’s home, to Florida it seems logical to assume that she will be joining “the HSN family,” as they say in St. Petersburg.

Pamela McCoy

But we could be wrong. It wouldn’t be the first or last time. We’ll soon see.

The McCoys are among the ShopNBC hosts who were either shown the door, or took it themselves. We’ll never know exactly which. But Pam continued to so a fashion line for the network, with faux furs being one of her specialties.

Here is exactly what McCoy wrote:

I know you have all been wondering what is going on with the Pamela McCoy Collection. Today I can share some of the news. I have been working on a jewelry line for the past year. It will air at the beginning of the year on a different network. It will feature diamonds set in gold and sterling silver. The prices will be amazing! I am very excited. I hope to give exact dates soon.

I will also be providing a link to the network on FB so you can find my shows easily.

I know many of you have been asking about the clothing line. Thank you for all of your style suggestions. It is a great help to me because my clothing line will be available by web and catalog this spring!

I will be able to give more details as soon as they are finalized. Everything always takes a little longer than I’d like but I promise you will be happy. I will keep you all posted! Thanks again!

Pamela looks about 20 years younger in her Facebook photo than she did on ShopNBC, and she got into a lather when we suggested that she may have had some work done. She denied it.

Pamela said she was just happy now, which indeed can take years off your looks. And she has a virile husband. And we guess those two factors can be a fountain of youth.

But liar, liar, pants on fire, Pam, if you are not telling us the full truth!

Anyway, since we love affordable diamonds, our birthstone, we can’t wait to see her jewelry line.

I think it’s the hillbilly channel JTV.

The hillbilly channel JTV lol I just had to laugh at that comment – it’s so true that show not only lies but their quality in diamonds are the worst I have ever seen. They are cloudy, cracked, and basically look like mud. They have had one major class action law suit against them due to here again lieing to the public and even now they still continue to do it. As for other who host on shopNBC some have just disappeared and were never spoken about again. Makes you wonder what really goes on behind the cameras. And yes it’s JTV Pamala’s going on. Oh yes I do believe she had work done but why lie about it? I also found her to be a bit stuck up like she was better than everyone else, well she won’t be now starting at the bottom of JTV lol.
      Another Linda

  2. Helene Says:

I would love to known what happend between the McCoys and John and Laura Ramsey (they sold high end jewelry on ShopNBC) that caused the 2 couples to be unable to work together.

  3. Aliana Says:

Pamela definitely had work done – she looks downright pretty now – always had a boxy face and funny hair – better now – why deny?

  4. Judy Says:

Pam is so full of herself. I find her to be such a foney.

  5. Lauryn Says:

She looks 20 years younger now because she is “happy”? Oh, please! If that were the case, everyone I know would be on Lexapro. There is nothing wrong with getting a little work done if it makes you feel better about yourself. Just own it! If she’s going to lie about something so trivial, why would anyone buy “diamonds” from her?

  6. Dotty Says:

No way she is going to HSN, and totally agree with Lauryn about the diamonds, please….

  7. Linda Fortier Says:

Look, we all know she’s had work done! Remember when her lips became so full?? I’ve also had fillers and I know what it looks like BUT I have very little. Not so Pamela, she’s had too much done, as Colleen Lopez. And it doesn’t hurt.

  8. GAIL FREIDENRICH Says:

I CAN’T BELIEVE NONE OF YOU REALIZE THAT SHE IS WEARING A PARTIAL WIG, JUST BEHIND HER HARILINE. REMEMBER THE TOSSLED CURLS? HIDEOUS, BUT SHE DIDN’T CHANGE THEM BECAUSE OTHER WIGS WEREN’T READY.
WHENEVER SHE SHOWED EARRINGS, SHE NEVER PUSHED HER “HAIR” OUT OF THE WAY. THE CAMERAMEN WORKED IT WITH HER.
HAVING SAID ALL THIS THOUGH, I LOVE HER JACKETS.
I WOULD WELCOME HER STUFF BACK.

  9. Pamela Paris Says:

First, of all I hope Pamela McCoy clothing returns in 2013 for the fall and winter collections. Second, I hope Pamela McCoy will not go to HSN and/or QVC. If she does decide to go to one of the two I prefer HSN. I really prefer her and her husband staying at SHOPNBC. SHOPNBC had the best quality in faux furs and exquisite and different styles of high end jewelry. It is said the Ramsey’s left as well. Then Charla Rhines left once Sonia Bitton stopped selling exquisite jewelry. You really can’t find the quality of merchandise SHOPNBC had on HSN and QVC. It is truly sad. I really do not like SHOPNBC as much since the change. It is nothing high end about the quality of jewelry or fashion. It is boring!!!!!!. I hope when Pamela McCoy begins selling her fashion and jewelry again in 2013 which I am praying, I hope it will be some way of communication outside the facebook where her customers can be informed how and when to purchase her products. I think SHOPNBC needs to revamp and go back to look at the quality of their merchandise then and look and it now. SHOPNBC stopped selling 21k, 24k gold jewelry. The jewelry looks soooooooooo busy.

Well, here it is the almost beginning of Fall, 2013, and Still no sign of Pam McCoy and her fabulous fashion line…her leather and suede jackets are my favorite!! What’s going on? Linda, can you keep me/us informed with what’s happening…is Pam really going to sell new jackets/coats thru a catalogue and/or a website? I miss being able to purchase her high quality, beautiful and well fitting designs. She is so good, I could successfully buy gifts for others, with different sizes…and hit home runs with my purchases!! But, I MISS HER, FOR ME, MOST OF ALL!! Her ever-changing fabulous selections, kept me coming back for more! Thanks for a reply about a relevant update on Pam McCoy and her fashion line.
I don’t give a darn for another jewelry line, and have no desire in her new jewelry line, either. Is she just tired of, or over designing her fashions? A sad reality, if true. But, ALL Pam McCoy fashion followers want to know the truth!!! Can you help?
    Thanks,
    Surrah De Almeida

  11. VALENCIA HOLTZ Says:

YOUR R RIGHT I WANT 2 KNOW, I MISS HER TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

  12. Bonnie Donovan Says:

ShopNBC, or SHOPHQ has really gone downhill. A ton of vendors who used to sell there are showing up on other shopping venues. ShopNBC still has the “old” staple Chuck with his so-so jewelry. All I ever see now is INVICTA and other watches. It should be called the INVICTA shopping chanel. This shopping venue is really boring – no food, boring electronics and cheap clothes are pretty much all that are left.
I miss the days of Charla, Pam and Wes!

  13. patti silvio Says:

When HSN and QVC are up early and on late, SHOPNBC shows prerecorded shows instead. All the high end vendors are gone. There is hardly any variety. You are right that it should be called the Invicta channel or the Chuck Clemency channel. Have lost total interest in watching.

  14. Anna Says:

Not the same since she’s not on miss her coats Her jacket were always nice don’t care about what she’s done to here face or hair

  15. Anna Says:

Hope to see her designs soon

  16. pitbull3mg@outlook.com Says:

I really miss Pamela’s coats. I have a closet full of just her coats but I could always use more. I loved her coats and miss her. People stop sending ugly texts you aren’t perfect.

  17. elizabeth langevin Says:

I loved Pam’s jewelry line, beautiful designs. And her Tissival faux fur is spectacular, I hope she still sells.
