Say Goodbye To Evine Live Host Daniel Green

We don’t know why, we don’t know when, but Evine Live host Daniel Green has exited the home shopping network.

Evine Live broke the news on Facebook earlier this week.

“We wanted to share with you, our fans, that Daniel Green is no longer a Host with EVINE Live,” the network said. “We wish him the very best in all that comes next for him.”

Green is mum on his Facebook page about what happened. But he has just authored a book on the Paleo Diet.

Evine Live’s move didn’t go over well with some folks.

“Sorry to hear this,” someone wrote. “Always liked him. Very disrespectful on the part of Evine to announce it like this.”

“That’s all?” another wrote. “He devoted how many years and this is how you honor him? Wow.”

“Talent is not something you can buy,” said another. “Daniel brought a level of sophistication to his segments that were respected and enjoyed by many. Tough loss.”

Some of the people who posted also asked a question we’ve been asked: What happened to Connie Kunkle? She is still listed as a host on Evine Live’s Website, but no one has seen hide nor hair of her for months. What gives?

Green, a Brit, received some kind words about his departure from his former colleague, host Melissa Miner.

She wrote:

Some people come into your life and quickly go.
Some people leave footprints on your heart
and you are never the same…

I love you Daniel! Lewis and I will enjoy our friendship with you and your beautiful family for a lifetime.

Where is Connie, I really liked her???

  2. Carrie W Says:

I loved Daniel and I’m sorry to see him go but I also enjoyed Sarah Anderson and she’s gone too. What gives? Did they leave on their own or were they shown the door?

  3. carolyn simpson Says:

evine aka shophq aka shopnbc aka valuevision always seems to dump the best hosts, what a huge mistake. people like to buy from hosts that they like.

  4. QueenCeleste Says:

Daniel will be missed. Also Connie and Sarah, as Carrie W mentioned. Wonder why they all left? It is good to see Pamela McCoy back hosting; I always liked both her and Wes.

  5. Chef Michael McDermott Says:

Truly EVINE’s Loss. Daniel Green is a consumet professional and a really good person. Vaya Con Dios Mi Amigo!

  6. richard b Says:

Daniel Green was a chef and an excellent author of cookbooks. When they had him selling watches he was really out of his element. He did not know anything about timepieces and it was embarrassing at time with his comments.

  7. Jo Says:

Daniel gave evine some much needed class in the host department. Promises should be honored. I wish him the best. Whatever his future brings will certainly be a step up.

  8. Andrew Says:

Anyone else glad to hear the pompous host got the boot? He always seemed way more into himself than anything he was selling. The ridiculous belts will not be missed.

  9. TJ Says:

I only just noticed he was gone when I saw him on a cookware commercial, then checked the host page to see him vanished. He was great doing cooking shows. Too bad. Probably tired of the grind. He was a very classy host. Just loved his voice and accent!

  10. Andrew Says:

He is supposedly from London and no one from London speaks like that, unless they are trying to “impress” Americans

  11. Karen Says:

    Where is Connie kunkle?
Was she fired? Was Sarah Anderson and Daniel green also fired?

  12. Maria Says:

Yeah!!! I Really Miss Connie Kunkle, Sarah Anderson, and Daniel Green!!! They were AWESOME HOSTS!!! Of the new ladies hired, I only like the one with the English accent, she seems very warm and Genuine. The other ladies are Hyper and have such Motor-Mouths! Like they’re all wired with caffeine!!!!!

  13. Donnie Says:

He’s selling a frying pan on tv.
    Talk about being desperate!

  14. Plum Says:

WHAT happened to Connie, she is missed.

  15. Mary Bills Says:

Allison Waggoner and Debra Murray are very annoying on the cooking segments. Miss Daniel, but he never really cooked on the show, basically was always hawking his paleo cookbook and Debra Murray was his sous chef.

  16. Paul Synk Says:

It is with deep sorrow that I share that our friend Connie Kunkle has passed away at age 58. Barely two years ago, this bright, vibrant dynamo was diagnosed with early onset dementia, which is very aggressive and progresses quickly. This the only blessing of this horrible and cruel disease. After becoming great buddies in the original cast of the long-running nightclub show “Broadway at The Top” at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Hotel, Connie went on to star on Broadway and touring companies, sang around the world and in recent years was the top-grossing on-air host for ShopNBC (now Evine). She has been living with her sisters and, most recently, in a memory care facility in Texas. Arrangements will be forthcoming and after the 1st of the year. I will post a link to her proper obituary when it becomes available. It has been the choice of Connie and her family not to share her struggle publicly, but please now help spread the word through your respective circles.

  17. Delores Says:

I just saw that Daniel Green is returning to Evine

  18. Martin Says:

i saw him the other week. i hope he was just playing substitute teacher. i will stop buying from evine if they let that hack back.
