ShopHQ has chosen Manhattan Associates Inc. to help the network increase throughput and the capacity of its distribution and fulfillment operations in Kentucky.
The software deployment is part of a $25 million expansion of the Bowling Green distribution center, which will more than double in size — going from 260,000 to 600,000 square feet — by the end of 2015.
“The expansion of our fulfillment operations is an indicator of our continued focus to enhance the customer experience and strategically invest for long-term growth,” ShopHQ CEO Mark Bozek said in a canned statement Monday. “We are pleased to work with industry-leading partners like Manhattan Associates as part of this strategic initiative.”
In fiscal 2013, ShopHQ shipped 7 million units. In the first half of this year, the company as already shipped 5 million units.
