Things are dead on the home shopping front, but here’s a tidbit of news: ShopNBC will premiere Calvin Klein Handbags tomorrow at 9 p.m.
“The debut show will be the brand’s first full-hour foray into television retailing,” according to ShopNBC’s press release Wednesday.
The hour-long premiere will feature clutches, satchels, totes and feminine duffels – each styled in napa leather, some printed with exotic textures and others in classic updated jacquard.
“We are excited to introduce Calvin Klein’s timeless handbag offering to our consumer,” Annette Repasch, ShopNBC Chief Merchandising Officer, said in a canned statement. “The classic styling and minimalist designs of Calvin Klein will further expand our fashion assortment, and we anticipate that this launch will keep our viewers excited this holiday season with must-have wish list items.”
The line will be presented on-air by Ulrich Grimm, Calvin Klein’s creative director for shoes and accessories.
